Another apology

I know this is getting annoying...but please forgive me...I dont know whats gotten into me...I am just tooo effin lazy to update my blog, maybe its becuase of the notorious (i know, not a good adjective to describe the weather) sun and heat in Singapore. I must admit though its cooling down nicely this pass few days.

Random note:

I am still very much in love with make-up but it seems that I dont play around with it as much lately because of my skin. Remember I told you how horrendous it was/still is....well went to a dermatologist Dr Ang Por and she prescribed me Roaccutance. She warned me of the side effects but because of beauty sake I am willing to endure it.

Been taking on for almost 3 weeks now and I must say its pretty good. My acne is clearing up well and my scars seems to be lightening as well.

Side Effects (personal experience)
  • Very dry lips (cracks soooo badly, you need to apply like lip balm every 1/2 an hour, no joke)
  • Your skin would be dry too, so moisturizer is a MUST
  • You MUST drink TONS of water, at least 2 litres or more if not your skin and lips would be even more dry. I didnt take the whole drinking thing seriously, and my lips bled and cracked and it was damn painful. Water helps...so please do drink.
  • It is a very strong drug so please please please follow the rules.

DO NOT (VERY IMPORTANT)

  • Get pregant when you are on Roaccutane as it is very toxic for the baby. The baby would either die or be deformed
  • However, your chances of getting pregant with a healthy fetus would not be jepordized once you are completely off the medication. So mummy wannabes, no worries, your wishes for a happy family would still come true with the addition of beautiful SKIN.

The doctor advised me to take the medication for about 6 to 8 months. Sigh hate being on daily meds, its very troublesome. But for beauty, I'll do it. I'll be posting more on health related and beauty stuff rather than make-up. So please do drop by yea? I'm going to update my blog MORE OFTEN. PROMISE!

PS: This is drug/medication is so potent and strong that a waiver form have to be signed once you have agreed to the roaccutane. This is to ensure that you are not currently pregant or are not planning to have a baby. I knwo right, kinda scary.

Till then chicas...
