Hey Lovelies!

My oh my how time does fly! It's been 2 years since I last updated my blog! Sorry babes! I have been rather preoccupied lately with my job and my life... I just got married! Well six months ago but ya so there were quite a number of significant changes to my life!

That said, my love, passion and desire yes desire for make up, beauty and fashion has not stopped me from trying new products and upgrading myself with better knowledge. I recently attended a make up artistry course again just to increase my knowledge on make up and also to brush up on certain techniques.

Ok enough about my missings and reasons, the next couple of posts I will be doing lotsa reviewes on different skin care and make up products. Also I will be including 'Outfit Of The Day' in my blog posts so please stay tuned!

To be consistent, I think I will put up a new every Monday. This way I have the weekend to really work on those reviews and tutorials :)

Hey Hey!

Its been like forever since I wrote on this blog. Please forgive me, I had recently started a job and had not gotten use to the routine and thus am always sooo tired after work. Now that I am 3 months into the job, things has gotten better and would be doing more reviews and tutorial soon.

Anyway, I am absolutely excited how I have like over 12,ooo views!! I know its not much compared to other bloggers but this is something I did not expect at all!! Yay!! How exciting!! Hahahaha... I am extremely motivated to continue this beauty journey.

MAC HAUL - FROM MAC SALE 2010

Hey Lolitas,

I was thrilled when one of my friends gave me an invite to an exclusive MAC sale event this week. The sale was from 9am to 8pm and I had intended to go first thing in the morning but due to some piggyness (I woke up late as I was up all night watching a Korean Drama Series), I ended up going at about 3.30pm. So as expected, everything was almost GONE. What was left was so-so and I wouldnt die if I didnt get them.

However, being the make-up retard that I am, I couldnt help but make a few purchases. Not much, but enough to satisfy me. So here it is...my very first post on MAC. MAC HAUL 2010 begins NOW.

5 Sexy Shenanigans - 5 Mini Lipglass/Lustreglass

I know!! How cute right!! The colour palette was too cute to resist. All those soft pastel colours. Makes me feel like singing. PS: Sorry for the pixelated image, I tried to increase the image size in a lazy way and my laziness resulted to this. Sorry guys. Wont be lazy the next time round.

I wanted to do swatches but the colours does not have a big contrast with my skin colour. So I decided not to do coz it looks seriously dull when swatched agaisnt my skin. But trust me when I say these colours are pretty and perfect for ANY skin colour.

From left to right : Ensign, Elle (Looks white but turns a very pretty pink once applied), Cruise Control, Morning Glory, Poetic License (My fav!!)

I think they retail for about $80 over SGD dollars BUT I got them for $30.00. Yay for me! Hah!

6 Mystic Cool Eyeshadows - Holiday Palette

Ok so this one I wasnt completely LOVING it but I just HAD to buy it coz it was really cheap. Plus I never had that shade of blue/green before and the plum colours are pretty as well (Ok now I am just defending myself) Hahahahaha

From Upper Left to Lower Right: Cool Incantation (Superb Highlighter for browbones), Blue Enchancement, Deep Secret, SHHH Dont Tell, Rose Potion & Violet Vows

I dont know if its just me but whenever I purchase a palette from MAC, the pigments of the eyeshadows are always not as pigmented as the pot ones. Anyone esle noticing that? Or am I just being ridikidoink?? Hmmm...

A MAKE-UP tutorial soon for this? I dont know how yet, need some time to figure this one out. Oh! And this one cost me about $25.00 original retail price at $58.00 or $78.00 cant remember.

Young Thing - Lipglass

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS ONE RIGHT HERE!!!!! Its perfect for that plain, fresh face look which I ADORE!! And goes beautifully when paired with smokey eyes. Seriously such an AWESOME buy. Oly $10.00!!! Weeeeeyaaaa!!!

So in the end, I realise that the purchases made were not at all retarded huh? I mean they were pretty decent purchases are pretty decent prices. So I am not such a make-up retard afterall (This is meant to be a statement not a question, so dont bother answering..hahahaha)

Today I want to talk about a product that has been sooo good to me. It has been an amazing product and I have made up my mind about it being the BEST moisturiser that I have used so far. Yes in my whole 24 years of life... this is by far one of the best if not the BEST moisturiser I have ever owned. And no.... I am not exaggerating.

Let me introduce you to my number one moisturiser LOVE

FOLLOW ME UV WHITE (O2 ADVANCED) MOISTURISER

O2 Advanced Skincare System. A new skincare line from Follow Me.

So what is the O2 Advanced Skincare System? (Taken from product description)

It packs all benefits of oxygen to revive every cell for superior anti-ageing properties. Coupled with an advanced Vitamin C to whiten skin and combat pigmentation. (I am loving the sound of it already, sold yet?)

So the moisturiser is? (Taken from product description)

The 02 Advanced Moisturiser is further infused with Advance Moisture Complex and Ceramide Catiosphere to enhance moisturisation, skin repair and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

Apply desired amount over clean face. Can be used as a day time and night time moisturiser.

Price?

It is soooo friggin reasonble. Like $13.00 - $15.00 for a 60ml tube.

Where can I find it?

Pros

• Cheap
• It is light yet not sooo light - light enough not to make your face look like a frying pan and heavy enough to know or feel that your face is being moisturised
• Nice simple packaging
• Smells good

• No irritation/No break outs
• Good for sensitive skin

Cons

• The whitening effect is not immediate, you have to use it for like 1 - 2 months before you can see a WHITENING effect. Having said that, your face does feel softer/supple after like a few days of using this product

Final Verdict

I will continue using it like forever until they discontinue it or something. HOORAY for cheap and effective moisturiser. No holes in my pocket!

So if you want a cheaper alternative to those expensive departmental store brands... FOLLOW ME is the best option!
